Today, Tuesday, June 4, 2024, Mr. Prof. Sherif Youssef Khater - President of Mansoura University, and Mr. Prof. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, honored the participants from Mansoura University in the success of the Mansoura University Integrated Caravan activities. Bridges of Goodness (21) in Halayeb, Shalatin, and Abu Ramad, in the Red Sea Governorate, in view of the great efforts they provided that contributed to the success of the convoy’s activities.

Dr. Ghada Al-Qunaishi - Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Jabr, Vice Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. Al-Sayyid Jad Eid - Vice Dean of the College of Dentistry for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Wafa Fathi, Vice Dean of the College Nursing for community service and environmental development, Mrs. Prof. Dr. Sahar Al-Dakrouri, head of the community awareness team, and the distinguished faculty members and the supporting staff for medical, dental, veterinary convoys, nursing, awareness, physical education, pharmacy, and the gentlemen coordinators of the Decent Life Initiative and the representative of the Social Solidarity Directorate. During his speech, Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater praised the efforts made by all the members of the convoy, which contributed to achieving its desired goals in an optimal way while leaving a good impression and a good image in the minds of our people in Halayeb and Shalatin, as well as reducing the burdens on their shoulders. He also thanked all the executive authorities, And all the military leaders in the region for their support of the convoy throughout its presence in the governorate and for their effective cooperation in making the convoy a success.
He also stressed that Mansoura University will continue to provide permanent and strong support for this file, as it represents great importance in meeting the needs of citizens for health and awareness services and activating presidential initiatives that aim to provide and spread health care throughout the republic, and the importance of community cooperation between the various parties. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim spoke about the activities that took place during the convoy and the statistics of the total number of beneficiary cases, which indicate the heavy demand from the people of Halayeb, Shalatin and Abu Ramad for the convoy and the remarkable success and achievement of the university’s desired goal, which the convoy achieved.
He praised the wonderful performance of the convoy work team and praised their active participation and the great efforts they made to make the activities of this national work a success.

His Excellency stated that the efforts of the medical convoy resulted in a total of (2677) beneficiary medical cases, and the necessary medications were dispensed to them free of charge from the convoy’s pharmacy, in addition to performing (32) surgical operations, and transferring (31) cases to hospitals and medical centers at Mansoura University to conduct the necessary examinations and surgeries. Many awareness sessions were also presented, including awareness-raising (339), community awareness (465), and sports activities (506).
