This morning, Tuesday, March 2nd, the committee formed by Prof. Mahmoud El-Meligy, the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, met to study the criteria of the competition of the best ECO-Friendly university headed by Prof. Rizk Mustafa Ibrahim - vice dean of the Faculty of Science for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs in the presence of the committee members and with the participation of the AL-Mahrousa Students Team of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector.

During the meeting, the competition's criteria were discussed, and they include a number of criteria (concepts of Environmental Conservation and sustainability, standards of educational systems, infrastructure standards, energy and climate change standards, Waste management standards, water management standards, transportation standards within the university, environmental quality standards, standards of sustainability compatibility with environmental laws and regulations and international conventions, the standard for dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic and preparing for epidemics), each criterion was assigned to a number of specialized committee members, and it has been emphasized that the files for each criterion of the competition criteria must be properly met and prepared according to a specific timeline.
