Professor Alaa Abd El Fattah Magawry, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and 

Head of the Committee in charge of Qualifying for Institutional Accreditation, met with the directors of administrations of the Sector of Community Service and Environmental Development in the Meeting Hall at the University Headquarters on Wednesday 25th December. The meeting was held to decide on all the necessary procedures to establish a system for qualifying the Sector of Community Service and Environmental Development for the University Institutional Accreditation and to determine the schedule to be followed to achieve this aim.

During the meeting the criteria for the institutional accreditation of universities issued by the National Institution for Quality Assurance and Accreditation were presented. An outline for the sector was presented and a comprehensive work plan for handling weaknesses was set forth. It was agreed that a job description for each employee should be drawn, that the university vision should be added onto the sector’s correspondence, and that all the activities implemented by the sector in and out of the university should be documented. It was also agreed that this meeting should be held regularly to follow up the achievements of the sector in relation to qualifying for accreditation.
