Commissioned by the Governor of Dakahlia and the President of the University,Professor El-Melegi, the Vice-president for Community Service 

and Environment Development, held a meeting with Academicians and experts to discuss the propositions and solutions for the traffic jams at Mansoura. This comes out of the University’s concern with the elimination of this problem. The meeting concluded with short & long term solutions such as mass transit, river transport, bridges, tunnels and multiple- storey garages.  It also stated that the problem of traffic jams is not hard to solve; it necessitates following traffic procedures and proper behavior.
