It is customary for The Community Sector to organize the Orphan’s Day at Mansoura University on the first Friday of April every year but this year’s 

celebration was an exception because it was held under the auspices of the University President who gave his instructions to receive large numbers of orphans in the University Guest House Garden. Preparations were made to welcome the guests including bus transportation, tents for the protection from the sun and a cleanliness campaign of the Club’s play area.

      The celebration included artistic performances, reed-pipe dancing, a muppet show, the magician, followed by lunch and the distribution of gifts and toys among children. The celebration was attended by a number of Vice-Deans for Community Service, Director of the Emergency Hospital and the former Director of the Oncology Center.
