On 30^th May 2016, Prof. Mohammed El-kenawy, the University President, inaugurated the second annual Exhibition “First Step2” by the students of the Faculty of Fine Arts. The Exhibition was attended by Prof. Ashraf Abdel Basset, the University Vice –President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Zaki Zidan, the University Vice- President for community Service and 

Environment Development; and Prof. Omar Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts. The Activities of the Exhibition continued till Thursday, 16^th June 2016. Prof. Ghoneim pointed out that the exhibition was the second one to be made by the freshmen-students of the Faculty of Fine Arts and it included 1000 works of art that encompassed sculpture, painting, and graphics which were created, under the supervision of the teaching staff, by 290 students in different departments. The faculty was established two years ago and it adopted the principle of giving students the opportunity to show and develop their creative, artistic talents during their academic study; a thing that helps first-year students to select their specialties.
