Under the auspices of Dr. Khalid Fahmy, the Minister of Environment, and Mr. Hossam Eldeen Imam, the Governor of Dakahlia, the Environment Authority in Mansoura celebrated the Day of the Environment under the slogan “Protect Environment for Life” on Tuesday 31^st of May 2016 at Gezeret Alward Club. Governor of Dakahlia; Prof. Zaki Zidan, the University Vice- President for Community Service and Environment Development; Dr. Hisham Rabea, the Head of the Central Administration of the Eastern- Delta Region at the Environment Authority; Prof. Farha Elshenawy, the Head of the National Council for women at Dakahlia Governorate; and Mr. Tarek Abdel Hady, the Head of  Gezeret Alward Club’s Board of Directors.

          During the celebration, ideas and visions were communicated with the purpose of increasing and strengthening the links between Mansoura University and the outer community in a way that goes in conformity with the vision of Mansoura University as represented by its President, Prof. Mohammed El-kenawy.
