Under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud Elmeleigy, the Vice- President for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs, and under the supervision of prof. Ihab Saad

, Dean of faculty of Medicine, and prof. Mohamed El.Hadidy, Vice-Dean for Community Service - the Environment Development Sector organized a broad campaign for blood donation at Mansoura University with the aim of increasing the awareness of the importance of blood donation and its role in saving lives.

The campaign included places inside the University where students could donate blood and make the necessary checkups. Publications to support the idea of blood donation and to show its usefulness and methods were distributed.
