A seminar on the general framework of banking operations systems and digital transformation through lecturers and officials from the Egyptian Export Development Bank at the Faculty of Commerce.

A distinguished seminar titled "The General Framework of Banking Operations Systems and Digital Transformation" was held today, Tuesday, December 10, 2025, under the auspices of Prof. Sherif Khater, President of the University, and Prof. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, led by Prof. Mona Dakroury, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, and Prof. Samah Hafez, Vice Dean for Community Service.

This seminar is part of the fruitful collaboration between the Faculty of Commerce and the Egyptian Banking System Model for the sixth consecutive year, hosting a distinguished group of speakers and officials from the Export Development Bank of Egypt.

The speakers included:

  • Ms. Sarah El-Sayed, Head of Financial Inclusion Sector.
  • Ms. Hadeel El-Sheikh, Head of Retail Banking Sector.
  • Mr. Ahmed (surname not mentioned), Head of Entrepreneurship and Strategic Planning Sector.

The seminar was also attended by Ms. Ebtehal and several colleagues from the bank’s Mansoura branch, amidst significant interaction from students and attendees.

The event enhanced awareness of the importance of digital transformation in the banking sector and opened new horizons for cooperation between students and financial institutions.
