An awareness seminar titled:
"Bullying... A Silent Threat to Society"
was held on Monday, April 14, 2025.

The seminar was delivered by:
Asst. Lecturer Amira Tarek – Faculty of Early Childhood Education.

The session addressed several important topics relevant to all sectors of society, including:

• Defining the concept of bullying and its various forms

• Presentation on types of bullying (verbal, physical, social...)

• Awareness on cyberbullying, especially blackmail-related issues and its dangers

• Clarifying religious perspectives on bullying, and the firm rejection of this unacceptable behavior

• Explaining the psychological, social, and behavioral consequences of bullying

• Providing practical advice and effective ways to deal with bullies

• Offering guidance on self-protection and encouraging active participation in combating the phenomenon

The seminar emphasized that confronting bullying is no longer just an individual responsibility, but a national project embraced by the Egyptian state as part of its ambitious Egypt Vision 2030, which focuses on developing the Egyptian citizen from all psychological, social, and educational aspects.

This seminar is part of Mansoura University’s pioneering role in community service and raising societal awareness, contributing to the promotion of a culture of respect and tolerance, and fostering a healthy educational and human environment in society.
