This comes as part of the continuous follow-up to efforts aimed at spreading a culture of institutional excellence across the university’s various sectors.

At the outset of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the evaluation team for their outstanding efforts in the past period. These efforts included preparing guiding manuals for the Excellence Awards, designing integrated programs to measure performance indicators—especially for the category of "Government Excellence – Distinguished Faculties"—as well as developing supportive training plans to raise awareness of excellence standards within the university.

He emphasized that excellence should be a continuous and sustainable process, not limited to evaluation or awards, but extending to the creation of a motivating work environment within faculties. He stressed the importance of establishing permanent units for excellence and future foresight in the university's faculties, to nurture innovative ideas, support quality initiatives, and form capable teams to lead development from within.

For his part, Dr. Bishoy Al-Qass Sidhom Beshay confirmed that excellence at Mansoura University is an institutional endeavor built on collaboration and team spirit, aiming to achieve real value within the institution. He added that excellence is measured by realistic success indicators that reflect the actual impact of ongoing development and improvement across various sectors.

He clarified that the purpose of evaluation is not merely to issue judgments, but to support faculties in discovering their strengths and promising opportunities, and to motivate the work environment toward adopting a culture of excellence as a daily approach that enhances the university’s competitiveness and leadership.

At the conclusion of the meeting, in a gesture that reflects appreciation and support, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim and Assistant Professor Dr. Bishoy Al-Qass Sidhom extended their heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Samah Ayman Abdelaziz El-Morsy, a member of the Excellence Evaluators Team at Mansoura University, on the occasion of her receiving a PhD in Education from the Faculty of Education – Mansoura University, wishing her continued success and progress in her academic and professional journey.
