As part of Mansoura University’s ongoing efforts to embed a culture of institutional excellence and activate its tools across all sectors, a comprehensive coordinating meeting was held for the excellence coordinators of the university’s faculties and hospitals. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Assistant Professor Dr. Bishoy Al-Qass Sidhom Beshay, Director of the Center for Excellence and Future Foresight at the university.

During the meeting, the upcoming work plan and the timeline for launching the internal Excellence Awards at their various levels were reviewed. The agenda also included the organization of training programs related to application and evaluation mechanisms, ensuring fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity among all participating entities.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim emphasized that institutional excellence is not an option but a necessity. He stated that it represents the identity of the modern university, which seeks excellence in performance, quality in outcomes, and a positive impact on society.

He pointed out that the success of the internal excellence initiative requires concerted efforts and the empowerment of excellence coordinators, who serve as the primary drivers of awareness and change within faculties and hospitals.

Dr. Bishoy Al-Qass Sidhom Beshay, in turn, noted that this meeting marks a practical starting point for unifying efforts and organizing work paths in the upcoming phase. He explained that the Center presented a detailed timeline for the internal Excellence Awards, the submission and evaluation system, and the training mechanisms directed at the concerned personnel, all with the goal of ensuring that every entity is fully prepared and actively engaged from the outset.
