Veterinary Medical and Advisory Caravan

As part of the activities of the Comprehensive Caravan, an event was held today in Shabrhour Village – Sinbillawin Center – Dakahlia Governorate, on Thursday, August 28, 2025, under the patronage of:

  • Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater – President of Mansoura University.

  • Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim Mohamed – Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

  • Led by Prof. Dr. Maha Abdo Mohamed Abdo El-Ashmawy – Dean of the Faculty.

Supervised by:

  • Prof. Dr. Mohamed Gaber El-Sayed Gaber – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

  • Dr. Mamdouh Saeed Mohamed Hussein – Consultant of Obstetrics, Reproduction, and Artificial Insemination.

The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – Mansoura University – participated in the veterinary medical caravan, in cooperation with:

  • Animal Health Research Institute – Mansoura Branch.

  • Dakahlia Directorate of Veterinary Medicine.

  • Dakahlia Veterinary Doctors Syndicate.

  • Brooke Charity Hospital.

  • Mostaqbal Watan Party – Dakahlia Branch.

  • Several pharmaceutical companies working in the veterinary field.

This took place in Shabrhour Village – Sinbillawin Center, on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

Services of the Caravan:
The caravan provided full medical and advisory services to local residents regarding the health and care of their animals, including:

  • Conducting medical examinations.

  • Dispensing medications from the caravan’s pharmacy.

Covering the following numbers of animals:

  • Cattle: 432

  • Buffaloes: 265

  • Sheep: 3,584

  • Goats: 786

  • Working animals (donkeys/horses): 520

  • Poultry (backyard): 52,100

The caravan was honored by the participation of MP Hesham El-Hosary – Chairman of the Agriculture Committee in the House of Representatives.

At the conclusion of the caravan, the villagers expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all the participants and to Mansoura University.
