Mansoura University celebrated the launch of rewarding its distinguished students within the framework of the new program for supporting the academically best achievers among bachelor’s students. The celebration took place in in the meeting room (2) of the University's General Administration Building under the auspices of Dr. Neven Riyadh Al-Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Prof. Ashraf Muhammad Abd Al-Baset, President of Mansoura University, and in the presence of outstanding students from the faculties of (medicine, pharmacy, engineering, agriculture and science), and their parents, in order to give them their monthly reward.

At the beginning of the celebration, Prof. Mahmoud Mohamed El-Meligy,  Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, thanked Dr. Nivin Al-Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, for her interest in supporting scientifically outstanding students,

and referred the cooperation protocol signed between Al-Mansoura University, the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Al-Sharia Association, which includes a special criteria for supporting outstanding students in the bachelor's degree by offering a monthly reward of (1,000 EGP) for one year to the first 25 students in the faculties of (medicine, pharmacy, engineering, agriculture and science) according to the standards of community service and development by selecting 5 students from each faculty.

Prof. Mohammed Atiya al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, aslo congratulated the outstanding students and urged them to keep up their academic achievements and success, assuring them that the distinction is the real wealth the country possesses, thanking their parents for their sacrifices in helping their sons and daughters achieve scientific excellence, indicating that the students had endured difficult conditions in studying after the suspension of study during the previous period due to the Corona pandemic.

At the end of the celebration, the monthly reward was distributed to the excellent students, and Mr. Hisham Saad, Director of Nasser Social Bank in Dakahlia, noted that the reward will be disbursed monthly and automatically to students through their account at Nasser Social Bank.
