Prof. Mahmoud Mohamed El-Meligy - Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development held a meeting on Sunday, December 18, 2022, with the physical health team and the alumni follow-up team of the community service and environmental development sector, in the presence of Prof. Abdel Basit Mohamed Abdel Halim - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Head of the Physical Health Team, Dr. Asmaa Ali Al-Awadhi Ali - Teacher at the Faculty of Engineering and Head of the Alumni Follow-up Team, and the members of both teams.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meligy welcomed all the attendees and presented the objectives of the meeting, which are to discuss the work plan for each team and develop performance indicators on which periodic follow-up reports will be made for the performance of each team.

In the first part of the meeting, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meligy discussed the work plan for the physical health team, where Prof. Abdel Basset Abdel Halim presented the terms of reference and objectives of the team, which are to spread the spirit of sports among students, encourage sports talents and work on their development. he also clarified the activities and events that will be implemented within the action plan to achieve the team’s goals, and then provided an opportunity for some of the team members to discuss some plans, proposals and initiatives that will be implemented during the coming period within the business plan.

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meligy also recommended that all sports activities be organized in a manner commensurate with all categories, men, women and people with special needs.

Then Prof. Mahmoud Al-Meligy touched on the second part of the meeting, where he began to discuss the work plan of the Alumni Follow-up Team, and Dr. Asmaa Al-Awadhi presented the terms of reference and objectives of the team and the work plan during which a number of activities and events will be implemented to achieve the vision and objectives of the team.

At the end of the Meeting, Al-Meligy stressed the need to develop an urgent implementation plan, and stressed the importance of making periodic achievement reports on all activities and events that take place in accordance with the performance indicators of each team, with the media publication of all activities on the university's official websites and social media platforms.
