Mansoura University convoy "Jusoor Al-Khair (17)" launches to the city of Al-Qusayr in the Red Sea Governorate

This morning, Saturday, January 14, 2023, Mansoura University's comprehensive convoy "Jusoor Al-Khair (17)” launched to Al-Qusayr in the Red Sea Governorate, under the auspices of Prof. Sherif Youssef Khater - President of Mansoura University, Major General / Amr Hanafi - Governor of the Red Sea, and headed by Prof. Mahmoud Mohamed El-Meligy - Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The convoy will provide its comprehensive and integrated medical services to the people of Al-Qusayr City in the Red Sea Governorate, and the activities of the convoy will include signing medical examinations for the people in various medical specialties, as well as dispensing medicines from the convoy’s pharmacy free of charge, transferring critical cases to complete treatment, conducting necessary medical examinations and surgeries in hospitals and medical centers Affiliated to Mansoura University, it will also include a number of entertainment and awareness activities that will be organized by the University's Childhood Care and Development Center team, in addition to distributing gifts to children.

The convoy management has taken all preventive and precautionary measures to preserve safety for all its members and the safety for the people benefiting from the convoy's services. This convoy comes as part of the university's plan to contribute in providing and disseminating health care throughout the Republic, in order to maximize its role in serving the community and to complete the series of integrated “Jusoor Al-Khair” convoys, which started by Al-Mansoura University in 2018, to provide its integrated services to the residents of border governorates and remote areas in need. The convoy's activities are scheduled to continue until Wednesday evening, January 18.

It is worth mentioning that Prof. Mahmoud El-Meligy had preceded the movement of the convoy by heading to Al-Qusayr to follow up on all preparations to ensure the success of the convoy.
