Under the auspices of Dakahlia Governor and the President of Mansoura University, a committee of experts paid a field trip to the site of New 

Mansoura on Sunday 30/8/2015 to evaluate the environmental impact of the City. Professor El-Melegi, the Vice- president for Community Service and Environment Development was in charge of the formation of the committee which is made up of specialist academicians from the Faculties of Engineering, Science, Agriculture, Commerce; in addition to representatives of Dakahlia Governorate and The Public Administration of Civil Defense.
