A Seminar on Strategic Planning from the Perspective of Women Empowerment and Protection - Anti-Violence Against Women Unit
Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the supervision of Dr. Samah Al-Saeed, Director of the Anti-Violence Against Women Unit at Mansoura University, the unit participated in the Egyptian Universities Forum Against Violence Against Women titled "Strategic Planning from the Perspective of Women Empowerment and Protection."
The seminar addressed integrating a gender perspective into the academic work environment. It included an exchange of experiences among coordinators and members of the units from three universities: Mansoura, Damietta, and Menoufia. The event also featured activities and workshops on designing, implementing, and evaluating future action plans.
Additionally, Mansoura University was assigned the task of designing a training program to enhance women's leadership skills. This program will be integrated into a larger project aimed at building the capacities of female university leaders in collaboration with the National Council for Women.
The training was conducted by Dr. Shaimaa Naeem, Director General of Planning at the National Council for Women in Cairo.
