In Collaboration with the Addiction Combat Fund, the Faculty of Arts Launches the First Awareness Convoy "Moshoura" in Tanah Village
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Khater, University President, and Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mahmoud El-Guaidi, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Professor Dr. Dina Abu Alaa, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Affairs, the Faculty of Arts launched its first awareness convoy today under the title "Moshoura" in Tanah Village, reaffirming the faculty's active societal role.
During the convoy, Dr. Aya El-Adawy, Assistant Professor in the Department of Media, delivered a lecture on the dangers of electronic addiction among children. Dr. Sara Khairat, Lecturer in the Department of Sociology, discussed the risks of early marriage for girls. Additionally, Mr. Essam Ezz El-Regal, a representative from the Addiction Combat Fund, provided awareness on the dangers of drug abuse.
A team of female volunteers from the Addiction Combat Fund also carried out a field awareness campaign within the village to raise awareness about the dangers of drug use and its negative effects on individuals and society.
A heartfelt appreciation goes to the residents of Tanah Village for their warm welcome and positive engagement with the convoy.
