Medical, Health, and Veterinary Awareness and Treatment Caravan in Dennabeek Village – Mansoura Center on Saturday, February 15, 2025
As part of Mansoura University’s commitment to community service and environmental development, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine organized a veterinary treatment caravan in collaboration with the Faculty of Nursing and the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine in Dakahlia. This took place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, in Dennabeek Village, Mansoura Center, providing a range of medical, veterinary, and advisory services to the local residents.
Under the Patronage of:
- Prof. Dr. Sherif Yousef Khater – President of Mansoura University.
- Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim Mohamed – Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.
Led and Supervised by:
- Prof. Dr. Maha Abdu Mohamed Al-Ashmawy – Dean of the Faculty.
- Prof. Dr. Mohamed Jaber Sayed Jaber – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
- Dr. Mamdouh Said Mohamed Hussein – Consultant in Obstetrics, Reproduction, and Artificial Insemination.
Caravan Objectives:
The caravan provided a range of diagnostic, therapeutic, and advisory services, including:
✅ Medical examination of animals.
✅ Provision of necessary veterinary treatments.
✅ Health guidance for animal care and welfare.
✅ Distribution of medications from the caravan’s pharmacy.
Caravan Statistics:
- Cattle and Buffalo: 42 cases.
- Sheep: 75 cases.
- Donkeys and Other Draft Animals: 18 cases.
- Poultry: 1,700 birds.
At the conclusion of the caravan, the residents of Dennabeek Village expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to all those involved, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in improving health and veterinary services within rural areas.
