Opening of the Family Carnival for Faculty Members and Staff at Mansoura University Thursday, July 24, 2025, on the Banks of the Nile (Nile Club)

As part of the important societal role of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector,
and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater – President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim – Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs,

The Family Carnival was inaugurated with the participation of 148 individuals representing 37 families from the university's faculties, hospitals, medical centers, and general administrative departments.
The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Abdel Rahman Mogahed – Director of the Nile Club,
Dr. Mostafa Amin – General Director of the General Administration for Environmental Projects (the organizing body of the event),
and a distinguished group of faculty members, staff, and their respected families.

The carnival began with the national anthem and a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a group warm-up session for all families using music, then the competitions commenced.

Dr. Mostafa Amin stated that the goal of the carnival is to activate the role of the family in achieving community cohesion, teamwork, and effective time management.

The idea behind the carnival was to include four members from each family: husband, wife, and two children or relatives.
The competitions were held in the style of the German “Telematch” games, accompanied by music. The head of each family assigned roles to its members according to their abilities in order to achieve the best results and win.

Souvenirs, children’s toys, and sweets were distributed to all participating families in an atmosphere filled with love and joy.
