Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah Zahry, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Chairman of the University’s Self-Resources Development Committee, a workshop entitled "Legal Excellence" was held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in the Small Conference Hall at the University Administration Building for the directors of the university’s centers and special units.

This workshop is the second in a series of successive workshops aimed at enhancing the performance of these centers, in accordance with the university’s development plan for its special units. The plan was designed based on an assessment of the actual human resource needs of these centers and was launched under the title “Professional Excellence Workshops.”

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Mostafa El-Bandary, Professor at the Faculty of Law and member of the Self-Resources Development Committee. It covered a variety of key legal concepts and regulations, with practical applications on some of the bylaws governing the university’s centers and special units.

The session concluded with an open discussion to address the most prominent legal challenges faced by center directors in their administrative and daily operations. The workshop was moderated by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Zahry.

The event witnessed active participation from the directors of the centers and special units, and it was coordinated by Dr. Reda Ibrahim, Director General of the Community Service Affairs Department, along with the department’s team.
