Seminar on "Digital Protection" as Part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence at the Faculty of Computers and Information

 The Faculty of Computers and Information at Mansoura University, in collaboration with the Women's Violence Against Unit at the university, organized a seminar titled "Digital Protection" as part of the 16-Day Campaign to Combat Violence Against Women.

Seminar Introduction: The seminar introduced the Women's Violence Against Unit at Mansoura University and the services it provides to the academic community. The discussion also addressed raising awareness about violence, its types, the psychological damage it causes, and how to prevent it, with a particular focus on digital violence. The meeting also covered how to volunteer and work within the unit's team. The series of meetings will continue across various faculties and sectors of the university to raise awareness and emphasize that Mansoura University has a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of violence against any member of the university community. The seminar particularly highlighted digital violence, its methods of protection, and how to prevent it, as it is one of the most widespread and dangerous forms of violence among university students and members of other academic institutions
