The Caravan for the Program of Preparing Integrated Activity Teachers Using the Montessori System in Cairo at the Faculty of Early Childhood Education
As part of the activities of the Presidential Initiative for Human Development, held under the title "A New Beginning for Building the Human," under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim Mohamed, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sahar Tawfik Naseem, Dean of the Faculty, and in collaboration with the "Buni" Academy in Cairo, the Faculty's students (from the Program for Preparing Integrated Activity Teachers Using the Montessori System), under the supervision of Dr. Samah Talaat Ahmed Abou Zeid, Lecturer in the Department of Psychological Sciences and Coordinator of External Activity Caravans, and Dr. Mariam Mahmoud, Lecturer in the Montessori Program, organized a caravan for fourth-year students.
The day began with the Academy welcoming us under the supervision of Ms. Hajar. The students were divided into Montessori classrooms and participated in practical applications with children.
They were introduced to the areas of practical life, sensory life, language, mathematics, and cultural life. For the first time, they observed the practical application of the Montessori curriculum using new and diverse methods. All the staff at the Academy were knowledgeable in effectively applying the Montessori method, which enriched the students with substantial practical experiences while working with children. It was agreed to have more positive participations in the future.
A special thanks to the management of the "Buni" Academy and all its staff for their warm reception of the students.
