Art Shines at Mansoura University

With pride and honor, the first art exhibition of the Fine Arts Faculty students in Cairo was inaugurated at Prince Saif Al-Din Taz Palace, Dawadar in Harat Al-Suyufiyya, Al-Darb Al-Ahmar, Khalifa District, under the auspices of the Cultural Development Fund of the Ministry of Culture, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.

This unique art exhibition was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and led by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and supervisor of the college.

The "Artistic Radiance" exhibition reflects a remarkable creativity embodied in distinguished works and innovative ideas under the supervision of Dr. Reem Khairy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The efforts of Dr. Shaimaa Taher, the exhibition's curator, and Dr. Sarah Al-Toumi, the assistant curator, were instrumental in organizing the event. The dedicated team of teaching assistants, including Engineer Haidi Al-Saqqa, Engineer Yasmina Nashat, Engineer Saber Eissa, Engineer Maryam Mounir, and Engineer Ahmed Al-Hadary, played a crucial role, along with the outstanding students Abu Bakr Ezzat, a fourth-year student in the Painting Department, Ibrahim Atman, a fourth-year student in the Graphic Department, and the event presenter, Rawaan Al-Sijaini, a fourth-year student in the Painting Department.

The exhibition featured the participation of 99 students presenting more than 150 works. The artworks included oil painting, photography, animation, mosaic, drawing, engraving, and several sculptural works made from polyester, stone, and recycled scrap materials.

This exhibition not only showcases pieces that express the emotions and ideas of talented artists who poured their soul and passion into every detail but also serves as a space for dialogue between the artist and their work and the art audience.
