Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of the University, and led by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Magdy Zakaria Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Noha Ahmed Heikal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Faculty of Computers and Information, through its Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, hosted Dr. Ahmed Abiya, Head of the Scientific Syndicate in Dakahlia, to deliver an introductory seminar on the Syndicate.

The seminar included a comprehensive introduction to professional syndicates in all their categories, their role in society, how to join them, and the services they provide to their members. Dr. Ahmed Abiya reviewed the history and establishment of the Scientific Syndicate in Dakahlia and its distinguished development, highlighting the social services it offers, as well as the recreational activities and trips it organizes. He also explained the advanced facilities of the Syndicate’s headquarters, which are used for hosting seminars, conferences, graduation ceremonies, and other important events. He announced the provision of a free grant from the Syndicate to organize a scientific and recreational trip for the students of the Faculty of Computers and Information, as part of the ongoing support the Syndicate offers to the graduates of the Faculty.
