Closing of the Fourth Graduate and Employment Forum of the Faculty of Physical Education

The Faculty of Physical Education concluded today, Sunday, February 23, 2025, the activities of the Fourth Graduate and Employment Forum. The forum was held from February 17, 2025, to February 23, 2025, with the presence of Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, organized by Professor Dr. Khaled Mohamed Ziyada, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and coordinated by Professor Dr. Amr Ali Shadi, Director of the Graduate Follow-up Unit at the Faculty of Physical Education.

Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim praised the efforts made by the Faculty of Physical Education in organizing this forum, emphasizing the university’s commitment to organizing such events to support graduates and prepare them for the labor market, reflecting Mansoura University’s dedication to qualifying its graduates and equipping them with the skills necessary to meet the ever-changing demands of the labor market.

Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Azim expressed his happiness with the forum's success, confirming the faculty's keenness to continue organizing such events in the future. He pointed out that six workshops were held during the forum, attended by 750 students and graduates, covering various topics including "Writing a CV", "Career Planning", "Passing Personal Interviews", "Administrative Skills for Establishing and Operating Sports Projects", "Specialized Therapeutic Nutrition", and "Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Sports Sciences".

The workshop presenters included: Professor Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Amin Ziyada, Professor Dr. Shahenda Salah El-Din Hussein Sarhan, Professor Dr. Mohamed Said Mohamed Khamis, Assistant Professor Dr. Mona Abu El-Az Mohamed Abu El-Az, Dr. Sara Mohamed Mohamed El-Morsy, Ms. Hoda Yasser Saad Ahmed, with wide participation from the college’s students and graduates who attended throughout the days of the forum.

The forum concluded with a final session today, which included a meeting with representatives of benefiting parties from public and private schools, sports clubs, the Youth and Sports Directorate, youth centers, and several distinguished graduates in their professional fields.

The recommendations of the forum were announced, including the importance of developing graduates' skills to keep up with the labor market by offering specialized training courses in various sports sciences fields, strengthening cooperation between the faculty and employers by signing cooperation protocols with sports, educational institutions, and private economic companies to provide training and employment opportunities for graduates, creating an online platform linking graduates with potential employers in the sports market, supporting entrepreneurship and emerging projects in the sports field, involving experts and practitioners in updating the curricula and courses at the faculty to ensure they align with the modern demands of the labor market, and recommending the establishment of a sports business incubator within the faculty to support innovative ideas.
