Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Mansoura University Organizes Specialized Training on Government Colleges Excellence Award Criteria – Wednesday, July 16, 2025

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and the leadership of Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim – Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Head of the Higher Committee for Internal Excellence Awards, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Bishoy Al-Qass Sidham Bishay Ibrahim – Director of the Center for Excellence and Future Foresight,

The Center for Excellence and Future Foresight at Mansoura University, in collaboration with the Egypt Government Excellence Award Administration, organized a specialized training course on the criteria of the Government Excellence Award – Category of Distinguished Government Colleges. The session was conducted by Dr. Hazem Sharaf El-Din – Training and Quality Assurance Consultant for Institutional Excellence Awards.

The training included a detailed explanation of the award’s criteria, foundations of institutional evaluation, and key underlying concepts of the award. It also focused on how to prepare the nomination file in accordance with international best practices, supported by evidence and performance indicators.

The course witnessed strong engagement from participants across various university faculties. Practical examples were presented, and open discussions were held on the requirements for winning the award and the role of excellence teams in achieving sustainable institutional value.

This event reflects Mansoura University's commitment to enhancing its faculties' capabilities in institutional excellence and preparing them to participate effectively in both internal and external excellence awards. It contributes to the university's strategic goals and aligns with Egypt's Vision 2030.
