Family carnival, for faculty members and university employees, at the Nile Club, Thursday, May 9, 2024

Within the framework of the important societal role of the community service and environmental development sector, Mr. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, opened the family carnival for the university’s faculty and staff at the Nile Club on Thursday 5/9/2024.
With the participation of 208 people, representing 52 families from university colleges, hospitals, medical centers, public administrations, the Nile Club, and expatriates.
In the presence of Mr. Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Gad - Vice Dean of the College of Dentistry, Mr. Prof. Abdel-Rahman Mujahid - Director of the Nile Club, Mrs. Prof. Dr. Abeer Tawakkol - Director of the Artificial Intelligence Program at the College of Engineering, and Mr. Dr. Mustafa Amin - General Director of the General Administration of Projects. Environmental (organizing management of the event) and Mr. M. Mohamed Fikry - sponsor of the carnival.
The carnival began with the national anthem, the Holy Qur’an, and a speech from Mr. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University, in which he expressed the important role of the family in building society, raising children and raising them on the virtues of morals, and His Excellency affirmed the university’s keenness to activate such activities aimed at serving the community. His Excellency thanked all those involved in organizing the event.
Then do a sports warm-up for all families using music and start the competitions.
Mr. Dr. Mustafa Amin stated that the goal of the carnival is to activate the role of the family to achieve goals (societal - and sports -,,,)
The idea of implementing the carnival comes by specifying the number of 4 members from each family, including the husband and wife and 2 children or relatives. Competitions are held using the German telematch system using music, and the head of the family distributes the roles to his family members according to their abilities to achieve the best results and win.
Souvenirs, games and sweets were distributed to all participating families in an atmosphere of love and fun.

A workshop entitled Using Augmented Reality in Language Teaching in Light of the Digital Transformation and Sustainable Development of the State Plan 2030 at the Faculty of Early Childhood Education

Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
And the leadership of His Excellency Professor Dr. Sahar Tawfiq Naseem, Dean of the College of Early Childhood Education, and His Excellency Professor Dr. Amal Muhammad Al-Qaddah, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
The Graduate Follow-up Unit in the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector organized a workshop entitled Using Augmented Reality in Language Teaching in Light of Digital Transformation and Sustainable Development of the State Plan 2030, on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 AD.
The symposium was attended by Dr. Ibrahim Muhammad Abu Zaid, teacher of curricula and methods for teaching the Arabic language - special groups and certified trainer at the National Institute for Leadership and Governance - Ministry of Planning and Economic Development.
The workshop was attended by the college’s female students, future teachers, in a qualifying step that is compatible with the requirements of the labor market in light of the state’s plan and vision to achieve digital transformation and sustainable development to keep pace with the latest developments of the era.
The workshop addressed the creation of augmented reality applications and their use in child education through the following programs:
1. The HP Reveal program, supported by HP, is completely free, which creates a composite display that combines the real scene that the user sees with the virtual scene generated by the computer.
2. https://mywebar.com/, which works on creating an augmented reality model by scanning the QR Code.
Until another meeting with new programs in the artificial intelligence and augmented reality industry for a graduate of childhood education armed with all the means of modern technology.

The symposium discussed early detection of tumors and how to prevent them by avoiding and reducing the risks of obesity, smoking, and unhealthy foods. As pointed out by Dr. Basil stressed the importance of exercise, walking adequately daily, maintaining mental health, and staying away from psychological burden as much as possible because it reduces immunity, which in turn prepares the body to receive some types of cancer. The symposium also discussed prevention through vaccinations and early detection and its role in safe treatment, as Dr. pointed out. Basil talked about the latest serums available to reduce and prevent some types of cancer that affect females more, as well as continuing to conduct examinations and analyzes for those with a hereditary family history, in implementation of the presidential initiative to focus on detecting tumors, and coinciding with World Vaccination Day.

The symposium received an active presence from students, graduates and college employees, who exchanged fruitful discussions and presented and answered questions.

The workshop targeted female students in the third year and fourth year in the college’s general program and specific programs (the program for preparing kindergarten teachers in the English language, the program for preparing vocational rehabilitation teachers for people with special needs, and the program for teachers of integrated activities using the Montessori system).
At the beginning, Her Excellency addressed the relationship between creative thinking and self-marketing. The workshop included several topics, including:
How to manage and market oneself in a correct manner appropriate to the nature of the individual
The concept of self-management and marketing, and how female students can use their skills and abilities to create a positive image of themselves in front of others.
The difference between displaying skills for marketing and arrogance: The doctor warned of the need for a balance between displaying skills and competencies appropriately, and between arrogance and arrogance.
The workshop then dealt with the stages of self-marketing, starting from internal preparation to build self-confidence, all the way to the actual marketing with creativity in presentation and different marketing methods, along with identifying the appropriate tools for better self-marketing, which can be relied upon by creating an account on appropriate professional websites. We organize practical exhibitions and create a professional CV suitable for the job we want to join. The workshop also discussed the various methods of attraction on social media and networks and their marketing importance because they have become a part of our lives...
At the end of the workshop, Her Excellency provided practical advice to enhance creative thinking and self-marketing skills.

Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, congratulated the Coptic brothers on the glorious Resurrection Day, as this morning he headed a delegation representing Mansoura University to extend congratulations to His Eminence Bishop Axios, Bishop of the Diocese of Mansoura and its dependencies, at the Archbishopric headquarters.
The delegation included Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and a delegation representing faculty members, workers, the Student Union, and the Students for Egypt family.
Dr. Sherif Khater sent congratulations to Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria, Patriarch of the See of Mark, and to the Coptic brothers in Egypt, as well as to the churches, bishoprics, and dioceses in Dakahlia Governorate, hoping that God Almighty will perpetuate in this country the spirit of love and peace among all its people, so that Egypt may enjoy security, safety, goodness, and stability. And that Egypt will always and forever remain a source of peace, love and interdependence.

On Tuesday, April 30, 2024, the College of Arts organized a workshop on “Principles of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Projects,” attended by Professor Laila Al-Sayed, Head of the Nile Pioneers Management Department at the United Bank.
It discussed the nature of entrepreneurship, the qualifying services that students can obtain, writing a CV, the skills that students must acquire when applying to work in such entities, the banking services that are provided to students, and the projects that they can obtain. The workshop was well received by the students and received a positive response from them. .
