Signing of medical examination on (5437) citizens during the convoy of Mansoura University in the Red Sea
Mansoura University convoy "Jusoor Al-Khair (15)" concluded its activities in the Red Sea Governorate on Wednesday evening, September 21, which was launched last Saturday under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud Mohammed El-Meligy - Acting President of Mansoura University and head of the convoy, and Major General Amr Hanafi - Governor of the Red Sea.
The convoy provided its medical and awareness services during its stay in the governorate, where Dr. Ahmed Rashid, the media officer of the community service and environmental development sector, announced that the efforts of the medical convoy resulted in the signing of medical examinations on (5437) cases of the people of Safaga and surrounding areas, with free treatment provided to them from the convoy pharmacy, in addition to performing (16) surgeries at Safaga Central Hospital, as well as transferring (23) cases to complete treatment and conduct medical examinations and necessary surgeries at Mansoura University Hospitals.
Rashid also referred to the efforts of the Childhood Care and Development Center team, which resulted in organizing a number of recreational and educational workshops for more than 900 children. Where workshops were organized for free drawing, coloring, how to make and shape colored clay, making crowns for children, making simple games, showing some interactive stories for children, making costume masks for children from colored foam, as well as conducting competitions for kites, a puppet theater for children and showing the play “Back to School” And a play entitled "Personal Hygiene", in addition to face painting and the distribution of gifts, toys and sweets to children.
For his part, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meligy praised the efforts made by all the members of the convoy to achieve its goals and relieve the burdens on the people. He also thanked Major General Amr Hanafi - Governor of the Red Sea, and all the leaders for their support to the convoy throughout its stay in the governorate. and stressed the continuation of Mansoura University in providing all its cadres and capabilities to serve the cities and villages of the Republic, especially the border ones.
