Mansoura University Medical and Awareness Convoy "Jusoor Al-Khair (17)" concluded its activities this evening, Wednesday, January 18, 2023, after providing its services throughout the week to the people of Al-Qusayr city during the period from January 14 to 18 under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater - President of Mansoura University, Major General / Amr Hanafi - Governor of the Red Sea, and under the chairmanship of Prof. Mohamed El-Meligy- Vice President of Mansoura University for Community Service and Environmental Development.

For his part, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meligy expressed his great happiness for the success of the convoy's activities, which witnessed a great turnout of people during its presence in the Red Sea Governorate, where the efforts of the medical convoy over the four days resulted in the signing of a medical examination on (3916) cases in various medical specialties, and the dispensing of the necessary medicines for them free of charge from the convoy pharmacy, in addition to performing (20) surgeries, and transferring (18) cases to hospitals and medical centers at Mansoura University to conduct the necessary tests and surgeries.

The activities of the convoy also included providing many recreational and educational activities, where the team of the Childhood Care and Development Center at the university contributed to presenting a number of paragraphs and workshops for more than (815) children, where workshops were organized to make colorful decorative pillows, coloring figures from cement, making Interactive stories and paper games, making accessories for girls and boys from colored threads, celebrating the New Year 2023, making a puppet theater for children, as well as organizing workshops for drawing, free coloring and printing, in addition to face painting and distributing gifts, toys and candy to the children that were With their families in the hospital to bring joy to their hearts

Al-Meligy also praised the wonderful performance of the convoy work team and praised their active participation and the great efforts they made for the success of the activities of this national work.

In conclusion, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meligy honored the officials in Al-Qusayr city, who are:

He thanked them for their efforts that contributed to facilitating the work of the convoy throughout its presence in Al-Qusayr. He also gave thanks and gratitude to Major General / Amr Hanafi - Governor of the Red Sea for his daily follow-up to the convoy and facilitating its mission throughout its presence in the governorate, and he emphasized the continuation of Mansoura University in Providing all the human resources and capabilities it possesses to continue organizing comprehensive convoys on a regular basis to the border governorates.
