Concluding the Medical, Veterinarian, and Agricultural Activities of “Welfare Bridges Convoy 6” in South Sinai
The activities of “Welfare Bridges Convoy 6” in South Sinai which had been organized by Mansoura University in Dhab were concluded on the
evening of the 6th of November 2019. The Convoy conducted medical examinations on the citizens of Dhab. Prof. Mahmoud El Meligi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Convoy head stated that during the Convoy (1584) patients of the city and the neighbouring areas were examined in different medical fields and received free medications from the Convoy pharmacy. In addition, seven surgeries were done and 23 cases were referred to Mansoura University Hospitals for further investigations and surgical intervention.
The members of the Convoy specialized in the nursing field held a seminar on First Aid, training the students on the treatment of bleeding, wounds, bone fractures, and conducting Tracheostomy and basic life support procedures.
