Launching the Activities of the Supreme Committee for Combating Drug Abuse and Addiction at Gamasa Camp for Students
In response to President El Sisi’s Initiative for Combating Drug Abuse and Addiction, and under the
auspices of Prof. Asharf Abd El-Basset, President of Mansoura University; and Prof. Mahmoud El –Meligi, the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the activities of the Supreme Committee for Combating Drug Abuse and Addiction started on Monday, 1/7/2019 at Gamasa Camp for Students. The meeting was attended by Dr. Sahar Abd El Aziz El Dakroury, Head of Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxicology Department, Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, Co-ordinator of Preventive Programs of the Fund of Combating Drug Abuse and Addiction, and Director of the Unit in the Emergency Hospital.
During the activities, lectures were delivered by Dr. Dalia Abd EL Latif lecturer of Thoracic diseases in Mansoura University, Dr. Hossam El Helaly, the office of Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Mr. Islam El beshlawy, Head of the Unit of Dakahalia Volunteers affiliated to the Fund of Combatting Drug Abuse and Addiction as well as other members of the committee. These activities took place in the student camp in Gamasa during the Orientation Session for the first group of students visiting the camp – which included students from the faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy and Engineering as well as the physically challenged students.
