A celebration was held on August 18th 2019 to celebrate Science Day under the auspices of President El-Sisi in El- Manara Conference Center to honor the scientists who got the State Awards. The President honored 

Prof. Mohamed Abd El-kader Ali Sobh, Professer at the Nephrology and Urology Center, Mansoura University. The professor was granted the First-Class Nile Award in Technological Sciences.  The President also honored Prof. Tarek Abd Elmineem Moeen Al Deiasty, Professor at the Nephrology and Urology Center, Mansoura University, who was granted the State Appreciation Award in Science and Advanced Technological Sciences in 2018.

            The celebration was attended by Prof Ashraf  Abd El-Basset, President of the University , Prof El- Helali El-Sherbini El-Sherbini , ex-Minister of Education, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meligi, Vice President for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs,  Prof. Ashraf Mohamed Soweilim , former vice president for Graduate Studies and Research and a delegation from the  University students.
