On Wednesday 13/5/2015, Professor Kenawi, the President of Mansoura university inaugurated the first meeting with businessmen and heads of 

boards of public companies. He welcomed the attendees and stressed the relationship between the university and the commercial & industrial sectors. Later, Professor El-Melegi chaired the meeting and emphasized the urgency of cooperation between the university and industry; he also stressed the importance of the transferable training of university graduates- the thing which will qualify them to work in the business sector. The meeting concluded with:

1-     The establishment of a training and simulation center of minor & major industries in Mansoura university; the center will be sponsored by a number of businessmen.

2-     Signing protocols to boost the cooperation between Mansoura university and public companies and bodies like the water company.
