On Wednesday 15/4/2015 the President of Mansoura University opened the Tenth Arab Annual International Conference of the Faculty of Specific Education 

under the title “Specific Education in Egypt and the Arab World and its Role in Community Development”, with the participation of a number of Arab and Egyptian universities from the 15^th. to the 16^th. of April 2015. The opening of the conference coincided with the faculty’s celebration of the Silver Jubilee and honoring the former officials.

The Vice-President for Education and Students’ Affairs stressed the importance of education as a basis for the creation of a better future. He also called for formulating a future vision based on information technology.

The Vice-President for Community Service and Environment Development stressed the urgency of reconsidering specific education and laying out a plan to train the human cadres because human development is a heavy burden shouldered by the university.

The Faculty Dean indicated that the conference is attended by a variety of researchers from Egypt and the Arab world; it discusses more than 50 researches covering all the fields of specific education. The conference aims at the enhancement of the standard of social awareness of individuals and institutions, the adoption of specific education programs and the development of human resources.
