A series of tuition-free workshops was launched for the children of the university teaching staff and administrators at the Nile Club as a start of summer activities. The focus of the workshops was on designing artistic shapes and models. The trainer was Dr. Mona Alawzeer who works at the  

Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering. The workshops are entitled:

-         Know Your Home.

-         Know Your Game.

-         Know Your Home’s Interior Design.

-         Know Your School.

The aim of the workshops was teaching children how to use architectural models especially the three dimensional ones. At the end of summer activities, an Art Exhibition for the works of the participating children will be opened where they will receive certificates of recognition.
