On Monday 12/05/2014, Sector for Community Service and Environment Development, Mansoura University organized a symposium under the title “Mass-

media: the Future of a Country” for the correspondents of sites, newspapers and T.V. stations. The discussion focused on the concept of mass-communication, and the role of Mass-media in the development of the society. It also dealt with programs of human resources, the development of everyday life skills of the trainees. Prof. El-Meligi the Vice-President for Community Service and Environment Development, commented the great effort exerted by the press at all times especially during student demonstrations; he also stressed the continuous cooperation & communication between the university and the press.
