On Monday 17^th of December 2014, at Eleven, Prof. Mahmoud Elmeleigy, the Vice- President for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs, opened a symposium under the title

"Egypt that we want", in the presence of the university staff members and secondary school students.

The focus of the symposium was the exchange of opinions and suggestions among attendees regarding the pivotal and crucial problems of the Egyptian society. The participating members agreed to start the discussion of "The Role of Art in the promotion of Public Taste" and continue the discussion of the other issues respectively in the future meetings.
