Under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El. Meleigy , the University Vice-President for Community Service and Environment Development  Affairs, The Sector for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs has organized a celebration for 350 orphans from Al-Dakahlia governorate on  Friday, 5^th of April 2013. Those orphans came from many associations and orphanages:

-          Shabab Elkheir Charity Association.

-          Dar El-Iman in Badawaay.

-          Dar El-Iman in Kafr Badawaay.

-          The Juvenile Correction and Rehabilitation Association.

-          Dar Al-Amal

-          Dar Alfadl Orphanage.

-          Nekieta Association for Orphans.

The General Administration for Environmental Projects, headed by Mr. Abd El.Rahman Askr,  has participated in this event to establish social integration between the university and the orphans  who have received gifts and enjoyed various entertainment activities at The Nile Club where Dr. Mohammed Khamees , the club director, has offered every association  a specific place for their activities. Dr. Khamees and the club staff were present all day long to help and respond to the needs of the orphans and their companions. The attendees enjoyed the celebration activities which were promised to the children in the year to come.
