HUAWEI ICT COMPETITION EGYPT 2023-2024 IC. THE FUTURE

The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Engineering participated on Monday, November 6, 2023, in the opening ceremony of the Huawei Competition in Prof. Dr. Magdy Abu Rayan Hall at the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University. What added importance to the event was the honoring of Mr. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Development Affairs. environment with attendance and participation. His Excellency stressed in his speech to his students and to the gentlemen in attendance that he is fully prepared to provide full support and that it is necessary to develop oneself and work to achieve achievements at the scientific level in the shortest possible time. His Excellency also congratulated Mr. Prof. Dr. Sherif Masoud on assuming the position of his Excellency as acting director. The Dean of the College also thanked Mrs. Prof. Sahar Sedqi, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, for her outstanding performance, and congratulated Mrs. Prof. Dr. Abeer Tawakkol for the successes achieved, especially the prizes in the Huawei international competitions, and thanks to the Huawei work team at the college, Huawei company officials, and the academy’s students. Then Mrs. Professor Abeer Tawakkol, Director of the Huawei Academy at the College of Engineering, spoke by offering a welcome to all the gentlemen attending and thanking the students of the Huawei Academy for the prizes they achieved in the competition during the past year, where they achieved second place in the world in networks, and achieved third place in the network level. Then Ms. Asmaa Siraj, Executive Secretary of Huawei ITB, spoke, praising the awards achieved. In the future, it aims to establish many academies that will conduct continuous training for their students, then hold competitions for them and award certificates and prizes to the winners, followed by providing job opportunities for the winners. This is because Huawei Academy has connections with international companies.
