University farm meeting and waste transportation

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs met today, Sunday, December 10, 2023, with the following:

This is to discuss the necessity of having a mechanism approved by the University Council to dispose of waste and rubbish within the university and how to transport it from the university to the landfills of Dakahlia Governorate in the village of Qalabsho, and to inventory all the campuses of Mansoura University in addition to the main campus, so that the total area of the university is within 600 acres, and to assign the community service sector to prepare this mechanism. It was also discussed how to cultivate the entire farm. His Excellency confirmed the abolition of the campus waste landfill and the absence of any waste landfill at the university again. He pointed out that the nursery waste, including wood, was delivered to the workshops at the College of Agriculture, and the green waste was transported outside the university every week.
