Meeting of the electronic reservation follow-up committee for hospitals
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development met today, Tuesday, December 12, 2023, with the following:
Prof. Dr. El-Shaarawy Kamal - Executive Director of University Hospitals
Prof. Mahmoud Saafan - Deputy Director of Intilaaq Company, Mansoura University
Dr. Amr Samir - Supervisor of Hospital Automation
This is to discuss some matters related to the hospital reservation system (Ibn Sina).
In the beginning, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim welcomed the guests and discussed some of the basic elements of the system. Prof. Dr. El-Shaarawy Musa and Dr. Amr Samir praised the quality of the system and the speed of performance at the present time. Then, Dr. Mahmoud Saafan reported that a server device with specifications had been allocated. It has superior computing capabilities and high storage capacity to accommodate the speed of electronic reservations and as a temporary solution for a short period of time until the development and modernization of the Ibn Sina system is completed. Then Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University commissioned Dr. Mahmoud Saafan to identify all the special needs of the Intilaaq Center. High-capacity devices and servers for use in the Ibn Sina system so that no malfunction occurs in the system’s performance until the system update is completed.
Then Dr. Amr Samir made a presentation of a proposed new application plan for hospitals. For his part, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim assigned Dr. Mahmoud Saafan to begin developing the Back End of the program and also solve the problems related to the APP STORE, and within a month it would be completed. Sending the APK of the program to be presented to the hospital directors for review, and within two months the first version of the program will be made available on “Android & IOS”. In the end, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim thanked all the attendees for their interaction and valuable contributions to the discussion and the effort made, as he confirmed. His Excellency emphasized the importance of joint work to achieve strategic goals and desired results.
