The training course “Financial Aspects of University Business” for the Human Resources Development Unit.. Monday, December 18, 2023 at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater - President of Mansoura University and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University for Community Service, Environmental Development and Entrepreneurship Affairs Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif - Dean of the College and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Doaa Samir Hazza - Vice Dean of the College for Community Service, Environmental Development and Organization Dr. Arwa Ahmed Ali - Director of the Human Resources Development Unit. On Monday 12/18/2023, the unit organized a training course entitled “Financial Aspects of University Business”... within the framework of the plan. Training for faculty members and supporting staff for the academic year 2023/2024.
The training was conducted by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Naghy - Professor of Accounting and Auditing and former Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Mansoura University, and Financial Advisor to the President of Mansoura University... and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah Zuhri - Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs and representatives of the distinguished faculty members and the supporting staff in various matters. Scientific departments according to training needs.
During the training course, the trainees were introduced to the concept of financial aspects from the point of view of the constitution and the law and the difference between the law and the constitution... and the difference between the fiscal year and the academic year and how to prepare the financial budget in universities... as well as a review of the Unified Public Finance Law No. (6) of 2022, as well as On how to prepare the general budget of the university and a detailed presentation of its six sections and how to deal with cases of surplus and deficit.
In conclusion, the floor was opened for discussion and all questions of the trainees were answered. A questionnaire form was also designed to evaluate the trainees and another to evaluate the trainees’ learning.
