The Council for Community Service and Environmental Development at Mansoura University held its session No. (257) today, Tuesday, 12/19/2023, headed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and in the presence of the deans of the colleges for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Messrs. Council members from abroad. The Council includes presenting and discussing a number of topics and executive plans that aim to develop the university’s performance in its role towards serving the internal and external community and contributing to achieving sustainable development.
At the beginning of the session, Mr. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University, extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his victory in the elections and his assuming a new presidential term.
Then His Excellency congratulated Prof. Dr. Amira Yassin - on her appointment as Vice Dean of the College of Engineering for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

His Excellency also talked about some important topics in the sector in which work will be organized, restructured and developed.

Then His Excellency presented the work plan for the sector during the current and coming period, which includes many important axes such as (hospitals and medical centers sector, convoys, smart management, university employee services, activating the central work system, infrastructure networks, developing the university campus, developing self-resources). Developing an interactive, social and recreational work environment.
Discussion of topics related to the Board of Directors began, and activity reports and work plans for the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector in the colleges and departments affiliated with the sector were presented through a presentation on the screen in the hall. At the end of the session, His Excellency honored Prof. Dr. Maher Abdel Halim - Vice Dean of the College of Physical Education. For community service and environmental development affairs prior to the end of his tenure, and honoring the supervisor in charge of the College of Pharmacy farm for his efforts and the appearance of the farm in a decent and beautiful manner.
In conclusion, His Excellency thanked all attendees for their interaction and valuable contributions to the discussions and efforts made. He also stressed the importance of joint work and dedication to work, as it represents a fundamental basis for achieving the strategic goals and desired results.
