“Tourism in Dakahlia Governorate symposium... A New Perspective” at the Egyptian Public Library.. December 24, 2023

Under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Mukhtar - Governor of Dakahlia, Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater - President of Mansoura University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University for Community Service Affairs, Environmental Management and Leadership, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif - Dean of the College.. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Doaa Samir Khaza - Vice Dean of the College for Community Care for Service to Society and the Environment and Prof. Iman Aboul Gheit - Director of the Cairo Public Library in Mansoura... The library hosted Sunday, December 24, 2023, the second general university event 2023/2024, films between the college and the library, with a symposium within A plan by the College’s Service and Caravan Department for tourism, archaeological, historical and environmental community awareness... Know Your Country initiative... a tour of Egypt’s tourist attractions... entitled “Tourism in Dakahlia Governorate... a new destination.”
Lands Prof. Dr. Doaa Samir, thank you for the college’s community role in tourism, historical, archaeological, and environmental awareness in Dakahlia Governorate and various Delta governorates.
Accordingly, Iman Aboul Gheit emphasized the library’s role in developing cultural and enriching awareness in cooperation with the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Mansoura University, in raising awareness among members of society.
Then a lecture by Dr. Arwa Ahmed Ali; Director of the Human Resources Development Unit at the College of Tourism and Hotels; I presented an introduction to tourism, its motives and different types, and the most prominent historical, archaeological and tourist attractions in Dakahlia Governorate and how to exploit them.
At the end of the symposium, the door was opened for questions and discussion about the future of library patrons from the community in developing tourism in Dakahlia, and opportunities and challenges were discussed.
However, awareness was provided to the institution’s pioneers from the governorates of Dakahlia, Damietta, Alexandria, and Marsa Matrouh, representing the Faculties of Medicine and Arts, the Technical Institute for Nursing, Mansoura University, Al-Azhar Technical and Commercial University, and the Delta Academy.
