Opening of the first Ramadan session for universities overlooking the coast at Mansoura University, under the slogan “Friendship Course,” Thursday, March 21, 2024.

Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, opened this evening, Thursday, March 21, 2024 AD, the activities of the nineteenth Ramadan football and table tennis tournament for faculty members at the university and coastal universities, which is organized by the Faculty Club, under the slogan “Friendship Course.” This is in the indoor hall of the Olympic Village, from 11 Ramadan until 23 Ramadan.
The course was opened in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hamdan Rabie, President of Damietta University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of Mansoura University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdel Qader Mohamed Abdel Qader, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Faculty Club, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Abdel Hadi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. At Horus University, Professor Dr. Ihab Hegazy, responsible for student activities at Delta University, in the presence of the deans, deans of colleges, and faculty members at Mansoura University and the participating universities.
During the opening of the Ramadan session, Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater welcomed delegations from coastal universities to participate in the session’s activities.
Emphasizing Mansoura University’s keenness to provide all aspects of cooperation and support to neighboring universities by hosting various activities and events.
He added that the Ramadan course aims to strengthen the bonds of friendship and establish a culture of teamwork for faculty members and their cooperation together in a friendly competition dominated by the spirit of one family during the holy month of Ramadan.
He also extended his thanks and appreciation to the University Faculty Club for its efforts throughout the academic year, by organizing many different events, as well as the distinguished and diverse services the club provides for the benefit of faculty members.
Professor Dr. Hamdan Rabie expressed his happiness at participating in this sporting event during the holy month of Ramadan, stressing that Mansoura University will always remain the mother university that brings together the Delta universities under the slogan “Renewing Love” in a sporting competition that brings together faculty members from various universities.
For his part, Professor Dr. Abdel Qader Mohamed Abdel Qader pointed out the club’s keenness to organize many different events, including this session. This year, the first session for universities overlooking the coast is also being organized under the slogan of the Friendship Course, in which the universities of: (Mansoura - Damietta - Horus - Delta - Al-Mansoura National - New Mansoura)
The opening match of the first Ramadan session for universities overlooking the coast ended with the victory of the Mansoura University team over the Delta University team 4-0.
The “Under-age” physical education team also defeated the “Under-age” fine arts team 5-1, and the Physical Education College team tied with the College of Medicine team 2-2 in the opening of the nineteenth football and table tennis tournament.
