“Etiquette of Dealing with Artificial Intelligence” symposium at the College of Arts... Tuesday, April 16, 2024; In cooperation between the Graduate Follow-up Unit at the Faculty of Arts and the Alumni Association Committee at Mansoura University:

The Graduate Follow-up Unit at the Faculty of Arts was held in cooperation with the Alumni Association Committee of the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at Mansoura University. A religious symposium entitled “Etiquette for Dealing with Artificial Intelligence.” This will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, in the conference hall of the College of Arts.
Present were His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Safwat Nazir Al-Morsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments in Dakahlia, and His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed Sharaf Al-Din, the imam, preacher and first teacher of Al-Nasr Grand Mosque in Mansoura... in the presence of a number of graduates and students from the target group from the College of Arts.
The symposium was presented by the student/ Mahmoud Mahmoud Mahmoud, a voice commentator and member of the Media Center at Mansoura University. The symposium was opened with the national anthem and the symposium began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an for the reciter, the student/ Muhammad Adel Muhammad al-Amir, at the Faculty of Physical Education, third year, who was interested in the programs of the Holy Quran Radio, and presented a speech by A. Prof. Dr. Rania Rawhi Mahmoud, then a speech by Prof. Dr. Suhair Waheed, a speech by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Suleiman Al-Jaidi, a speech by His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Safwat Nazir Al-Morsi, then a speech by His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed Sharaf Al-Din Imam. In the presence of representatives of the faculty members, the supporting staff, and the college’s administrative staff.
The symposium discussed the most important religious challenges and public morals facing young people in light of the means of technical development and how to achieve the maximum benefit without harming others, but rather making optimal use of artificial intelligence while raising awareness of religious and social aspects and making technology contribute by being one of the tools for spreading religious awareness in a way that keeps pace with current development. At the end of the workshop, the floor was opened for dialogue and discussion.
