Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jaidi - Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Ghoneim - Full-time Professor of Sociology at the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Reda Abdel-Gawad Raslan - Full-time Professor of History at the College of Arts, Prof. Noura Talaat Ismail - Assistant Professor of Sociology at the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Nisreen Muhammad Sadiq - Assistant Professor of Sociology at the College of Arts - Dr. Marwa Ahmed - Secretary of the Center.
This is to discuss the work plan for the Cultural Center for Human Sciences and Folk Heritage, prepare studies, research, and information related to anthropology and folk heritage, and agree to collect everything related to cultural heritage, antiquities, architecture, and various matters related to human sciences, and choose specialists and influencers to spread cultural awareness among students and the supporting body of faculty members. Conducting influential seminars for target groups.
The following is a brief overview of the Cultural Center for Human Sciences and Folklore at the College of Arts:
This center was established as a unit of a special nature at Mansoura University, with its technical, financial and administrative independence in accordance with the provisions of Article 227 of the executive regulations of the Universities Organization Law to complement the system of specialized practical centers existing at Mansoura University, where the center is concerned with culture, unique from other centers that carry this culture in its components for that knowledge. The expertise, experiments and perceptions that man has practiced throughout the ages, and are mixed with the ongoing practices of his daily life, the effects of which appear in the patterns of behavior and customs that man follows, the type of relationships he experiences, his moral values and beliefs, his language and his social relations. Recording and developing culture is considered one of the most important concerns of universities, research centers and media agencies. Heritage research institutions and museums in the world are currently developing, and developed countries are competing and competing in this field.
