Patient Rights Symposium “A symposium for medical staff at the university in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine”

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Shouma, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and organized by Prof. Dr. Tamer Saleh, Vice Dean of the College of Law for Education and Student Affairs and Executive Director of the Human Rights Unit at the University, and Prof. Dr. Ghada Al-Qunaishi, Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs,
Coordinated by Dr. Nancy Amin, Coordinator of the Human Rights Unit at the College.

▪️ Today, May 15, 2024, the University’s Human Rights Unit, in cooperation with the College of Medicine, held a symposium for the university’s medical staff under the title: Patient Rights.
Prof. Dr. Tamer Saleh spoke about the patient’s legal rights, His Eminence Sheikh Khaled Saeed, one of the Al-Azhar scholars, spoke about compassion for the patient, and Dr. Lina Hosni discussed the patient’s rights in accordance with the professional code of honor.
After that, the attendees asked questions to the lecturers, and after the end of the symposium, they visited the Safe Women’s Unit at the college.
